Can I get an extension on my T-Mobile bill?
Am I eligible? Available to postpaid customers who need extra time paying their bill. Your account must be less than 30 days past the due date to initiate a payment arrangement. You must pay any balance that is 31 or more days past due before you can set up a payment arrangement.
If you need more time to pay your bill, you can set up a payment arrangement. In order to get your due date extended for your monthly bill and discuss options to get your bill lowered, you will need to call T-Mobile's COVID-19 support hotline at 855-335-1978.
Anytime your account is past due, your service may be partially suspended. If the balance on your account remains unpaid, a full suspension may occur.
Typically, services could suspend within two to three weeks, with a late fee being charged. We highly recommend setting up a payment arrangement to avoid service suspension. Just simply click where it says "Go" to get started. We've also included this resource for learning about late fees.
Late payment
A late fee of the greater of 5% of applicable monthly charges or $7 or the maximum amount allowed under state law is applied to your account if not paid by the due date.

Account suspension guidelines
You must be the Primary Account Holder (PAH) to suspend a line on T-Mobile.com. When you suspend a line, all calls, text messages, voicemail, and data services are suspended. You'll keep your number and monthly plan, but monthly fees are prorated depending on the type of suspension.
To cancel a line on your account, contact us. Most Prepaid accounts will cancel automatically after 120 days in Not Paid status when: The account runs out of available funds. Autopay/Autorefill is turned off.
Suspend a line
Log in to Account Hub and go to Manage Accounts to select the line you want to suspend. Choose Suspend from the line menu and Reason for change either: Lost/Stolen Suspend to suspend immediately with permanent cancellation if not restored within 30-days. Seasonal Suspend with 90-day suspend maximum.

Autopay usually triggers 2 days before the payment date.

Can you put your T-Mobile account on hold?
T-Mobile lets you suspend a line on your account (if you're the primary account holder) twice in a 12-month period for up to 90 days each. From the T-Mobile app, head to the Account tab, select the line you want to suspend, and choose Temporary suspension.
Home internet accounts and lines can be seasonally suspended. They are 90 days each time and you can do two back to back within the 12 month period.

If you cancel your contract during the last month, you'll pay either $50 or your monthly recurring charges, whichever is less. T-Mobile gives you a 20-day window after starting your contract during which you can back out without being hit with early termination charges.
